Welcome to Reclusivity.net. This is a blog for anyone who needs time alone, away from the masses, in order to feel at peace.

I’ll aim to post a couple times per week, and will focus on issues which may be of interest to recluses, hermits, loners and introverts.

By the way, my name is Penny. When I was about seven years old I received a school report from my teacher, which I duly took home for my mother to read. The report stated good things about my academic progress, but I remember that the last sentence stated that I was a “loner”. When I asked my mother what that meant, she said that I didn’t spend much time with the other children. I couldn’t see any problem with that at the time, and still don’t.
